Assembly instruction

1. Open the top side of the box by carefully cutting through the tape and taking off the clamps.
Attention: Do not use a cutter to avoid damaging the bike or other parts.

2. Take the bike and the small-parts box out of the shipping box. Place tools, quick release skewers, pedals and the small-parts box box ready to hand.

3. Unpack the handlebar and turn the fork in driving direction and assemble the handlebar on the stem.
Attention: Look out for correct cable housing layout.

4. Carefully remove the front wheel and assemble the quick release skewers with closing lever to the left (in driving direction). Check the tire markings for correct direction of rotation.

5. V-brakes: unhook the brake cable
Disc-brakes: take off transportation protection
Magura-HS-brakes: turn quick release skewer at brake calipers and
refer to Magura owner’s manual.

6. Turn off shipping protection of the fork and put in the front wheel. Check the tire markings for correct direction of rotation.

7. Now you can remove all packaging materials. Open the seat clamp and carefully put in seat post without any rotation as not to scratch it.

8. Mount pedals to crank arms.
Attention: Make sure to attach each pedal to the correct side of crank! Pedals are marked with “L”/”R”. The right pedal (“R”) needs to be screwed in clockwise, and the left pedal (“L”) needs to be screwed in counter-clockwise. Please screw pedals in tightly (approx. 40 Nm).

9. Finally, check position of the handlebar. If necessary, correct it and tighten screws of stem and handlebar. Pay attention to correct torque as suggested by manufacturer, especially if parts are made from carbon fiber.

10. Important: Please read owner’s manual carefully before riding your bike. Make sure to properly clean and care for your bike to ensure its proper function.
