Grips

Besides the pedals and the saddle, the grips are the only direct connection point between bike and rider. Accordingly, the grips are of great ergonomic importance. The wrong grips often lead to the typical symptoms of fatigue that probably every cyclist knows. Hands that fall asleep or numb fingertips, aching forearms and shoulders. Especially on long rides, these harmless impairments can become a real nuisance. But the manufacturers cannot be blamed for this! Grips and saddles are components that can never be 100% suitable for every rider. How good that we offer a variety of different models that allow for individual adjustment.

From the classic "horns", to non-slip grips for off-road use, to ergonomic grips made of fine cork or leather, we offer all the usual types. The variety of materials, colours, shapes and sizes makes it possible for everyone to find the perfect grip! The improved pressure distribution ensures a constant blood flow to the hands and arms. Thanks to the universal fit through forged aluminium clamps and the fair prices, no one has to compete with numb hands!

Bar ends and "horns

Bard ends are especially popular for mountain bikes. Due to the geometry of the sporty bikes, the rider usually sits a little more compactly, which allows better manoeuvrability off-road. On long tours, however, the feeling quickly sets in that the handlebars and grips are too close to the body. The need to stretch out the arms and adopt a different sitting position has led to the development of curved horns at the end of the handlebars. With these, you have the option of adopting an alternative sitting position and significantly relieve the strain on your arms and hands on long rides. In addition to the classic bar ends for mountain bikes, there are also articles for cross and trekking. The uncomplicated attachment to the end of the handlebar and the high-quality production from aluminium make these little helpers a real relief. Cube also offers its CNC-milled RFR Bard Ends in different finishes, which ensures a clean look. With a weight of only 65 grams (135 grams for the trekking version), the bar ends should not be too heavy.

Handy helpers

There are many reasons why you might want to change the grips. Maybe the fit is not optimal, maybe you slip off during wild excursions in the bike park, or maybe the grips are simply worn down after a long period of use. The choice of replacement or upgrade options is so varied and colourful that there is a suitable one for everyone. The Cube Performance grips, the RFR Grips Pro and the Cube Race models are especially profiled and offer maximum grip and safety even without gloves. With a weight of less than 100 grams, the grips are lighter than the standard models. The grips of the Fritzz, SCR and Pro series have a lower profile and are primarily aimed at off-road freaks who want perfect control over their bike with gloves. The use of vibration-damping EVA foam and the anodised aluminium caps make these grips real professional tools for the trail.

Ergonomics is the trump card

Comfort grips for improved ergonomics are an indispensable must, especially for touring fans. Improved pressure distribution, a variable hand position and the possibility to mount the grips with horns and adjustable result in an almost endless variety of combinations. In addition to the proven models from Ergon, who offer comfort grips in different sizes with the GS series, Cube has also positioned itself excellently on the market. The grips of the Cube "Natural Fit" series offer a wide range of different models. Besides simple versions for touring and trekking, Cube also offers grips with integrated bar ends. These allow for additional functionality and should be especially helpful for sporty riders. The quality of workmanship and durability is - as with all grips in our range - outstanding and guarantees long-term enjoyment!
