CUBE Factory Racing Team shines at the Lake Placid World Cup

When passion, endurance and precision come together, the result is memorable moments. At the World Cup stop in legendary Lake Placid (New York), the CUBE Factory Racing Team showed exactly that: pure racing spirit and impressive performances – both in cross country and downhill.
Finn Treudler: A season for the history books
There was no getting around Finn Treudler in Cross Country. The young German continued his incredible run of success and once again dominated both disciplines: Short Track (XCC) and Olympic Cross-Country (XCO). With his sixth XCC victory in a row and another triumph in the XCO, he crowned a season that could hardly have gone better. At the same time, he secured the overall titles in both U23 categories – a milestone that impressively underlines his rising career.

While Treudler left the competition behind, Nikolaj Hougs showed true fighting spirit. After a retirement in the Short Track, he battled his way back into the top field with a strong 8th place in the XCO. Ella Maclean-Howell also showed that she is closing in on the international elite with 10th place in the XCC and 33rd in the XCO.
In the Elite Class, Ondrej Cink’s races did not quite go according to plan, but he still collected valuable points with 32nd (XCC) and 48th (XCO). Kira Böhm had to take a break due to illness – but she plans to be back at the start line for the season finale in Canada.

While the cross-country stars focused on endurance and precision, pure adrenaline was the order of the day on Whiteface Mountain. The new Downhill course challenged even experienced riders – and the team once again demonstrated why it ranks among the world’s best.
Rosa Zierl achieved a strong result with 5th place in the junior category and confidently defended her overall lead. Kasper Hickman confirmed his form with 3rd place in qualifying and 6th in the final – consistent, safe, and fast.

In the Elite Category, Max Hartenstern initially had an excellent run but then suffered an unfortunate crash and had to settle for 28th place. Jess Blewitt, who competed despite a persistent hand injury, showed real fighting spirit: with P23 and P12 in the qualifying runs, she demonstrated what mental strength truly means.
