Saalfelden Leogang – Salzburgerland was the scene of a World Cup weekend that will go down in history for the CUBE team. At the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, CUBE athletes delivered standout performances in cross-country, downhill, and enduro – highlighted by a historic elite victory and strong results across all disciplines.

CINK’s big moment: a win for the history books

The emotional highlight: Ondřej Cink, at 34 years old, claimed his first-ever elite World Cup victory in the XCO category. On a technically and mentally demanding course covered in mud, he fought his way to the front – and pulled away from Mathias Flückiger in the final kilometers.

With an 18-second lead and visible emotion, Cink crossed the finish line. A symbolic moment: back in 2012, he became U23 world champion at this very location.

Double victory for Finn Treudler in U23 XCO

Two races, two winsFinn Treudler’s weekend was just as spectacular. He first took the U23 Short Track win, then followed up on Sunday with a commanding victory in the U23 Cross-Country race.

With a 47-second lead, he dominated even under challenging conditions and secured valuable overall World Cup points.

Rosa Zierl takes Junior Women’s Downhill win

Goosebumps in the downhill as well: young Austrian Rosa Zierl celebrated her first-ever World Cup victory in the Junior Women’s category – and did so on home soil. With precise lines and fearless riding, she left the competition behind.

The rest of the downhill team also impressed:

  • Jess Blewitt (Elite Women): 5th place – strong comeback after injury
  • Max Hartenstern (Elite Men): 10th place – consistent top-level performance
  • Kasper Hickman (Junior Men): 6th place – impressive debut in his first World Cup season

Enduro power: Podium for Simona Kuchynkova & CUBE Actionteam

At the UCI Enduro World Cup in Leogang, the CUBE Actionteam took first place in the team classification.

Simona Kuchynkova delivered a brilliant ride to finish 2nd in the elite category – her first-ever World Cup podium. Across six demanding stages, she defied the weather and posted consistently strong times. Zakarias Johansen added to the success with a 6th place finish.

Triathlon: Lucy Charles-Barclay wins Ironman 70.3 Eagleman

While the MTB team was making headlines in Austria, Lucy Charles-Barclay made a statement in the U.S.: at Ironman 70.3 Eagleman, she dominated the race from start to finish.

With a stellar performance in all three disciplines, she secured victory by more than a minute – a perfect start ahead of the upcoming T100 Triathlon Series in Vancouver.

CUBE in top form – on every course around the world

From a muddy XCO finale and emotional home wins to Ironman glory in the U.S., this World Cup weekend was living proof of what’s possible with hard work, passion, and the right equipment.

Whether on the CUBE Stereo ONE77, across the XCO course, or pushing through the Ironman bike leg – the entire CUBE team showed one thing:
They are ready for the 2025 season.
