Breaking new ground with the Cube Nuroad
For a long time, racing bikes were used for more than just competitive sports. For long tours, bike trips, or cross-country races, different models were available. The trend towards more robust mountain bikes and cross bikes has made the sector of specialized racing bikes increasingly smaller. For some years now, however, enthusiasts and manufacturers have been returning to the "old values" and reviving racing bike series with fresh ideas. The big trend towards light and durable cyclocross bikes has also reignited the demand for touring and racing bikes for extremely long tours. With the brand-new Nuroad series, Cube produces bikes that feel comfortable off the fine asphalt cycle paths and roads and invite you to tours lasting several days. The completely redesigned aluminium frame allows the use of tyres and mudguards up to a maximum of 40mm and thus also allows off-road use. The basis of the series is the Cube Attain frame, which has been scaled to the usual frame sizes of the Cube Cross series. Cube skilfully combines the sportiness of the racer with the comfort of the crosser. The vibration-damping carbon fork blades and the balanced and relaxed geometry enable fatigue-free driving for many hours. The internal cable routing and the slim design of the frame provide a sporty look and the racing bike shift groups for the right speed. Thanks to the modern disc brakes, these bikes remain controllable at all times.
Cube Nuroad, the relaxed departure into new worlds
Made of light and stable 6061 aluminum, the frame offers maximum comfort and control. The reliable Shimano Tiagra rear derailleur and the Tektro disc brake, which is insensitive to external influences, provide the necessary robustness. The bike skillfully closes the gap between the racing and cross bikes and is the perfect choice for all who want or have to cross-country with their racing bike. With a low total weight of approx. 10.7 kilograms, it can also be driven quickly and efficiently on the road. The sporty look of the bike, with the classic design in red and black, is lovingly taken up by many details and results in a harmonious overall picture.
With the Pro on steep trails
In the Nuroad Pro equipment, Cube gives the bike a Shimano 105er group, which is seen as a beloved standard by many passionate racing cyclists. Uncomplicated, low-maintenance and yet ambitious drive parts make this bike a fast and easy racer for the road, forest paths and adventurous tours. Even under adverse conditions, the hydraulic disc brake from Shimano ensures safety. The weight of just over 10 kilograms also allows an ambitious commitment for training and fast laps. The reliable and handy 36mm tyres make the bike so variable that even inaccessible passages can be mastered without difficulty. The discreet painting of the frame perfectly matches the understatement.
I'm outta here! With the new Cube Nuroad EXC
Unfortunately, the search for a road bike suitable for travel often goes without useful results. With the new Cube Nuroad EXC, fans of the Waldershofer manufactory now have the opportunity to find a bike! The setup of the Nuroad Pro serves as a basis. Cube complements the bike with many useful details and creates a true adventurer. The Tubus Vega carrier can carry a lot of luggage and offers space for matching saddlebags. The non-slip and puncture-proof Clément X´Plor USH folding tyre is extremely quiet on asphalt and has hardly any rolling resistance. Thanks to the profiled tyre flanks, however, it always offers sufficient traction on rough ground and thus conveys a great deal of safety. SKS Gravel mudguards protect riders and luggage from dirt and moisture. An absolute highlight is the Supernova lighting system. The internally laid cables for the operation of the lighting system and the inconspicuous construction ensure a clean look that does not interrupt the sportiness of the bike. With now 11.9 kilograms and a small surcharge compared to the Nuroad Pro, the EXC is a must for all bike travelers, adventurers and long-distance lovers.
