Derailleur with the Cube Travel, Travel EXC and Travel Sport

For the most versatile use Cube provides some of the bikes of the Travel series with a classic Shimano derailleur. The entry-level model Cube Travel uses a Shimano Deore rear derailleur with 27 gears and a wide range of transmission ratios. Tektro's hydraulic disc brake provides reliable performance at all times. With generous 29 inch tires and low weight, this bike is a real mile-eater. The integrated luggage rack allows you to carry your luggage and the Cube stand allows you to store it without scratching. The bright Trelock lighting system ensures a clear view at all times. For a reasonable price, Cube offers the Travel, a bike that already meets the highest demands of long tours and bike trips. In the EXC version, Cube uses the noble Shimano XT rear derailleur with 30 gears. This rear derailleur makes any steep climb possible and changes gears very smoothly. The large and smooth-running Schwalbe Big Apple tyres ensure incomparably quiet rolling. With the high-quality attachments, such as the Axa Blueline lighting system, the bike is extremely low-maintenance and robust. Cube also offers the Cube Travel Sport equipment for globetrotters and bike travel professionals. Cube gives this bike a generous Shimano XT equipment. The Shimano XT disc brake, rarely found in trekking, guarantees maximum deceleration in any situation. A variety of hand-picked components, such as the Shimano XT hubs, the Selle Royal Lookin Athletic saddle, or the puncture-proof Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres with Kevlar protective layer, press the total weight of this ingenious touring bike to approx. 12.7 kilograms. Travel bikes with hub gears, carefree for thousands of kilometres

To the basic orientation of the series as sporty touring bikes, low-maintenance hub gears are of course an excellent fit. The Cube Travel Pro uses the popular Shimano Nexus 8-speed transmission and a Gates belt drive. These extremely resilient and maintenance-free drive components ensure puncture-free use over long periods, even under unfavourable conditions. Readjusting the gears and dropping chains are a thing of the past with this bike. The large 29 inch Schwalbe Big Apple tyres gratefully take up the propulsion and help comfortably over all obstacles. In the Travel SL version a Shimano Alfine circuit is utilized. Together with the almost indestructible Gates belt, you get a drive string that requires practically no maintenance and with the puncture-proof, Kevlar-coated Schwalbe Marathon Supreme tyres, any tour, no matter how long, can be realized without a workshop. Further details, such as the automatic Axa Blueline headlights, or the ingenious Split & Side system for maintenance and tension of the belt, inspire not only technology maniacs. The quality of the components also has a positive effect on the total weight, which is just under 13.7 kilograms. No matter whether it's boiling hot Route 66 or icy sections of snow on the Alpine tour - the Travel SL is a reliable partner on every tour.
